Miron Construction finishes improvements to Merrill High School Athletic Complex

Miron Construction Co., Inc., in partnership with Point of Beginning, Inc. and Bray Architects, has completed phase one improvements to the Merrill High School Athletic Complex in Merrill, Wisconsin. Construction began in June 2016 and wrapped up in August 2016.

Work on the athletic complex included installation of field turf, new main athletic complex entrances, ticket booths, a new plaza with the school logo stamped into the concrete, a new scoreboard/sound system, field lighting and new fencing around the facilities.

Additional items that were completed as part of this project include new track amenities (discus cage, shot put, long/triple jump and pole vault), along with resurfacing of the track and enclosure of the bleachers.

In the future, phase two scope of work will include the completion of new restroom facilities and a new plaza after the removal of existing facilities, along with a newly constructed concession stand and additional gate.
