Miron Construction hires four employees at corporate headquarters

Miron Construction Co., Inc. recently hired four employees at its corporate headquarters.

Jeff Grunewald was hired as a corporate trainer. In this position, he will be responsible for the strategic vision and tactical execution of the corporate training and development program in addition to supporting employee development across multiple functional areas. He will also drive company-wide strategic initiatives to engage, develop, and retain talent, as well as set performance metrics and evaluate productivity. Grunewald graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Master of Science in education and a Bachelor of Science in technology education. He brings 10 years of construction experience to the role, previously serving as a technology teacher with the Sheboygan Area School District and as an adjunct instructor for OSHA 30 courses at Lakeshore Technical College.

Henry Hecht recently accepted the role of project manager. He will be providing direct management to construction projects, including dealing with construction/building issues, purchasing materials, creating and following schedules, and careful monitoring of, and reporting on, financial issues related to projects. He will ultimately deliver projects in accordance with established company policies and procedures and be accountable for success on all projects he manages. Hecht earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Lehigh University. Prior to joining Miron, Hecht worked in several roles of increasing responsibility at Kiewit Infrastructure Co., most recently as a project engineer.

Michelle Tuley was hired as a payroll professional. Her responsibilities include field payroll processing and keying, unemployment claims review, new hire reporting, union funds reporting, and new job setup review. Tuley graduated from Park University’s Camp Pendleton Campus Center with a Bachelor of Science in human resources management. Before joining Miron, Michelle worked at Tradesmen International in Milwaukee as an administrative assistant to payroll.

 

Jared Ott is the newest project accountant at Miron. In this position, he will bill transactions in support of construction projects, monitor project modification pricing, track and confirm labor rates, handle advantage purchasing, and perform other duties as assigned. Ott earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lakeland College, as well as an associate degree of applied science in business management from Fox Valley Technical College. Prior to accepting this role, he served as a project accountant for an area construction company.
