Neenah, Wis.— On Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Miron Construction Co., Inc. will sponsor the 11th Annual Milwaukee Broomball Classic, benefiting children through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. The event will take place at the MSOE Kern Center, located at 125 N. Broadway in Milwaukee.
Local teams consisting of 5 players will gather for a day of friendly competition, all while raising money and collecting toys for disadvantaged youth in the Milwaukee area. Throughout the past 10 years, the Broomball Classic has raised more than $45,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
“It’s great to see local businesses come together to benefit our area youth, especially during the holidays,” said Kathryn Glodosky. “We see thousands of children walk through our doors every day seeking positive role models and life-changing programming. It is because of the support we receive through these types of events that we can continue to make a difference.”
Along with the tournament, this event also features raffle items and a bake sale. Additional sponsors include The Daily Reporter, Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and Flannery’s Bar & Restaurant.
Player fee is $20 per person. Experience is not required. For more information, please visit milwaukeebroomballclassic.com or contact Patti Bergeson at 414.308.1527 or email@example.com.
