Miron Construction’s Kacie Hokanson and Halie Schmulligan named to Constructech’s 2020 Women in Construction list
Miron Construction Co., Inc. is proud to announce that Kacie Hokanson, virtual construction specialist, and Halie Schmulligan, estimating innovation specialist, have been named to Constructech magazine’s 2020 Women in Construction list. The Women in Construction list is comprised of the most successful women working within the construction community who are taking advantage of technology and who represent some of the largest, most innovative construction companies in the country.
“Kacie truly has a passion for technology, particularly virtual reality (VR) and the many ways it can elevate both our company and the industry as a whole,” said Brian Athey, director of construction innovation. “Within Miron, Kacie excels at capturing processes and documenting them for use by both the Virtual Construction department and other areas. These documented processes help to streamline operations and increase efficiency.”
“The biggest benefit Halie has brought to the company is a drive toward consistency,” said Jason Fuhrmann, senior vice president, estimating. “She continually makes processes more consistent, efficient, and effective. She’s shortened lead times on information turnaround and has helped increase collaboration amongst her teammates.”
The women on this list have gone above and beyond to transform work on the jobsite and in the office through the use of technology. This year’s list brings together a diverse group of women who are breaking ground on new processes to improve productivity and efficiency on the jobsite, while opening doors for more women entering the space.
