Celebrating Educational Leaders and Investing in Future Scholars

Posted on Feb 17, 2015 by Craig Uhlenbrauck

Each January, Miron Construction Co., Inc. and National Insurance Services co-host a kick-off party for the Wisconsin State Education Convention. The State Education Convention is the largest school convention in Wisconsin. The three organizations that bring the convention to life are the Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB), the Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators (WASDA), and the Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials (WASBO). The goal is to bring Wisconsin public school leaders together for several days to network, share innovative ideas, and hear from keynote speakers. The annual convention is held at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee.

This year marked Miron and National Insurance’s 16th Annual Buck Bradley’s Kick-off Party. Guests of the event include public school leaders who are clients of Miron and/or National Insurance. The evening consists of socializing, live music, beverages and hors d’oeuvres. Miron and National Insurance are proud sponsors of the WASBO Foundation $1,000 Student Scholarship, so in lieu of charging for the event, each attendee is encouraged to donate $10 to the WASBO Scholarship Foundation.
