Miron Construction Co., Inc. is excited to announce the opening of its new Eau Claire office, located at 3402 Oakwood Mall Drive, Suite 200. The soft opening will be on Monday, November 30, with the grand opening scheduled for Thursday, December 10^th. This new location will help Miron better serve the western part of the state.

“Miron has a long history in Eau Claire and throughout western Wisconsin, but we feel it is critical to establish a stronger presence in this region of the state to both strengthen existing relationships and acquire additional work,” said David G. Voss, Jr., president & CEO of Miron Construction. “Miron is a family-based company that strives to immerse itself within the communities in which we work. Therefore, we feel that it is vital to show our commitment to the region by becoming a more active part of it.”

Leonard Borgen has been promoted to the position of vice president, Eau Claire operations and will manage the new Eau Claire office. Borgen has more than 14 years of experience and leadership in construction management with a focus on project management. He has worked in numerous markets throughout Wisconsin, has completed industrial, healthcare, and religious projects, and has direct experience estimating, scheduling, planning, and managing projects from schematic design through occupancy.

“We are excited about our continued growth and the opportunity to build relationships in the area,” said Borgen. “The new Eau Claire office will serve as a hub for Miron in western Wisconsin, and will allow us to better engage with current and future clients in this part of the state. Eau Claire is a welcome addition to our other locations in Wisconsin and Iowa.”

Borgen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial technology with an emphasis in building construction management from UW-Platteville. Prior to his promotion, he served as a project executive for Miron Construction for the past two years and held the position of project manager for seven years prior to that. He has been employed by Miron Construction since 2000.
