Smack Hunger & Say Cheese
On May 16th, 2017, a team of 12 from Miron’s Wausau office will be volunteering at the 3rd annual Smack Hunger & Say Cheese event put on by the United Way Emerging Leaders of Marathon County. The Miron team, aptly named Mironi & Cheese, will work alongside more than 275 volunteers to package more than 60,000 vitamin-fortified servings of mac & cheese, tomato basil pasta, and apple cinnamon oatmeal for the Marathon County Hunger Coalition and local food pantries. On the line for the team that raises the most money for Smack Hunger is the coveted traveling Golden Noodle trophy and, of course, bragging rights!
The event will be held at the Marathon Park Multi-Purpose Building #1 at 5:00 pm.
