What’s Cooking? – A Delicious Take on Team Building
During Miron’s corporate annual summit, approximately 190 of Miron’s office staff participated in a one-of-a-kind team building experience that left some employees literally singing for their supper. For the event, our large group was split into teams of 6 or 7 and challenged to prepare one course of a seven-course grand buffet menu—all without the use of recipes! Dishes ranged from filet mignon kabobs and meatballs (a group favorite) to chicken salad and a strawberry dessert, with all the prepared food served as the group dinner that evening. Our teams and our creations were judged on taste, presentation, cleanliness of workspace, and teamwork by a panel of expert chefs. We were also challenged to come up with team names and cheers that we presented in front of the entire group at dinner. All in all, it was a great time with surprisingly great food! Looks like we have more chefs on staff than we thought!
