OK, kids. Time to get dirty.
Quarry Quest, the annual educational event celebrating the mining and construction industries, returns Saturday, Sept. 12 to Michels Materials Quarry in Neenah. With it comes the opportunity for children and adults to explore — and literally dig into — the limestone quarry and take part in dozens of hands-on activities. It runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
