Miron Construction honored with 2021 BUILD Wisconsin Award
Miron Construction Co., Inc. was recently awarded a 2021 BUILD Wisconsin awards from the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin. Miron has been awarded 62 BUILD Wisconsin awards since the program’s inception in 2003.
Miron Construction was honored in the General Contractor – Commercial New Construction – Project Size $10-$15 Million category for the Brown County STEM Innovation Center project. To view the featured winning video, click here.
Developed by the community for the community, the Brown County STEM Innovation Center was constructed to secure the region’s manufacturing future by addressing the shortage of technically skilled workers, creating an essential pipeline that will achieve improved economic development in Northeast Wisconsin. Owned by Brown County and built on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus, the Center will encourage students of all ages to become involved in STEM vocations, ensuring new generations have opportunities to become tomorrow’s innovators.
Entries are judged on sustainable practices, unusual design and craftsmanship, innovation in construction techniques or materials, and meeting difficult challenges. The BUILD Wisconsin awards stand as a testament to the skill, integrity, hard work, ingenuity, and commitment invested into each construction project.
