Miron Construction Co., Inc., in partnership with Byce & Associates, Inc., began remodeling the existing Delta County Jail building in Escanaba, as well as constructing an addition.

Miron’s scope of work on the project includes building 25,000 square feet of additions and 20,000 square feet of renovations to the existing facility that houses the sheriff’s office and support space. The project, which is expected to be complete in the fall 2018, includes the addition of a pod-style housing unit within the jail and the remodeling the existing Delta County Courthouse to include additional holding cells.
