Posted on Oct 5, 2018 by Education

Miron Construction Co., Inc. in partnership with Strang, Inc. and Ballinger, recently broke ground on a new chemistry building for the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Miron will serve as the general contractor on the new $98-million, 260,000-square-foot addition and remodel project located on campus.

UW-Madison’s overhaul of its chemistry building calls for the construction of an 188,400-square-foot, 9-story tower, which will house the university’s chemistry instructional program. The same project also includes the renovation of the existing Daniels Chemistry building. This project began in September 2018 and is scheduled to be complete in March 2022.
