Miron Construction begins work on UW-Madison fire alarm systems project
Miron Construction Co., Inc. is partnering with Mead & Hunt to complete phase seven of a University of Wisconsin multi-building fire alarm replacement project at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Work on the 716,792-square-foot project began in November 2015 and is scheduled to be completed in November 2017. The Miron team will replace fire alarm systems in four campus buildings to improve smoke and heat detection, provide additional audio/visual alarm signals and improve maintenance. As a result, the campus will have greater security and the buildings will be brought up to the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) code.
