Miron Construction Co., Inc. hires seven employees at corporate headquarters

Miron Construction Co., Inc. recently welcomed seven new team members to its corporate headquarters.

Amy Harrison was hired as an accounting professional. In her new role, Amy is responsible for a variety of accounting activities, including reviewing and entering invoices, allocating costs and other general accounting support duties. Amy brings more than five years of accounting experience to her role.

Kaitlyn Mickelson was hired as a payroll administrative assistant. In her role, Kaitlyn will assist the payroll team with payroll processing and keying, reviewing unemployment claims, new hire reporting, union funds reporting, and reviewing new job setup. Kaitlyn brings eight years of administrative experience to her new role and received her associate degree from Moraine Park Technical College.

Kelsey Reget serves as a project administrator. In her new role, Kelsey assists project teams in planning, directing and coordinating activities of assigned construction projects. Kelsey has two years of administrative experience and obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.

Joel Stave joins Miron as a project manager. In his new role, Joel provides direct management of construction projects. This includes dealing with any project issues, purchasing materials, creating and following project schedules and careful monitoring of and reporting on financial issues related to projects. Joel brings experience in civil, environmental and field engineering to his role. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin.

Daryl Van Geffen serves as a project manager. In this position, he helps manage all activities on assigned projects, including preliminary estimates, budgets, financial control, scheduling, coordination of construction activities, project closeout, and owner occupancy. In addition, he works in direct cooperation with the project superintendent and has a strong field emphasis in terms of responsibility. Daryl brings more than 35 years of maintenance and management experience to his new role and received training and education from Fox Valley Technical College.

Jessica Vine was hired as a field payroll professional. In her role, Jessica is responsible for a variety of payroll activities, including reviewing and entering field employee timesheets, processing union funds, setting up new employees and assisting with audits. Jessica brings eight years of financial experience to her role. She obtained her associate degree from Fox Valley Technical College and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in leadership and organizational studies from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.

Randy Yunk serves as an industrial project manager. In his new role, Randy plans, executes and finalizes equipment installation and industrial projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of subcontractors, tradespeople, architects and engineers to deliver projects to the customer according to plan. Randy brings 27 years of union construction experience to his new role.
