Miron Construction constructs new John R. Moses skilled nursing facility at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King
Miron Construction Co., Inc., in partnership with Eppstein Uhen Architects, will construct the new John R. Moses skilled nursing facility at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Miron serves as the general contractor on the 257,537-square-foot facility, which will break ground in February of 2019 and is expected to be completed in the Fall of 2021.
The new 24-hour skilled nursing facility will have 192 beds within 16 households in a home-like setting, with private rooms and views of Rainbow Lake. Each household will house 12 residents with a shared kitchen, dining and living space to promote social interaction. It will also feature an outdoor living space and will be connected to the tunnel system.
John R. Moses, a World War II veteran who served as Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs for 23 years, was a devoted to serving veterans and was especially dedicated to making sure that King was the place that veterans can be proud to call home.
