Miron Construction exceeds United Way campaign goal for seventh consecutive year
For the seventh year in a row, Miron Construction Co., Inc. has surpassed its United Way combined corporate and employee campaign goal. Miron employees far exceeded expectations and the organization raised more than $380,000 during its 2018 campaign, a nearly 25 percent increase from 2017.
“With Dave Voss’s leadership, Miron employees once again ran a fantastic United Way campaign,” said Sandy Drexler, vice president, resource development for United Way Fox Cities. “What makes Miron special is that strong support from everyone within the company. It is incredible that more than three-quarters of their employees give, and more than 100 employees gave $500 or more. Their commitment to the health and vitality of our community is truly noteworthy.”
The campaign, which ran from September 7 through October 11, boasted 78 percent employee participation, with 125 contributors donating $500 or more.
“Once again, the generosity of our employees astounds me,” said David G. Voss, Jr., president & CEO of Miron Construction and United Way Fox Cities leadership committee chair. “Our collective commitment to strengthening our communities is apparent in our employees’ ongoing donation of time, talent, and treasure. We’re honored to make a significant impact on the programs and services supported by United Way throughout each of the communities in which we have offices, including the Fox Cities, Madison, Milwaukee, Wausau, and Eau Claire, Wis., as well as Cedar Rapids, Iowa.”
