Miron Construction hires five employees at corporate headquarters

Miron Construction Co., Inc. recently hired five employees at its corporate headquarters.

Jessica Micke was hired as a public relations and events specialist. In this position, she will be responsible for planning and coordinating events for employees, internal guests and external clients, as well as community events. She will assist with public relations and communication efforts across the company and all marketing channels, including crafting press releases and developing content for social media. Micke graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and communication. Prior to joining Miron, Micke served as the development events manager at Hands On Nashville, and previously spent 10 years as a community outreach coordinator for the Green Bay Packers.

Terri Glasel recently accepted the role of marketing assistant. She will be responsible for supporting the marketing team through administrative work and assisting with the coordination of marketing events and activities. Glasel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communicative arts from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee. She previously worked at Alta Resources as a retail marketing representative for Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.

Scott Eigner joined Miron as a project superintendent. Bringing 27 years of carpentry experience, with 11 years as a superintendent, he will be responsible for overall direct field supervision of projects. In addition, he will ensure production goals, craftsmanship standards and safety practices are met. He will interface with project management to develop construction schedules, update construction schedule progress completion, obtain subcontractors and ensure that the project is within budget. Eigner completed a four-year carpenter apprenticeship and was previously employed by a construction company in Madison as a project superintendent.

Dan Howard was hired as a network security administrator. In this position, he will be responsible for analyzing security risks and developing response procedures, as well as conducting regular security audits, monitoring computer networks and taking measures to eliminate security threats. Howard earned an associate degree from Moraine Park Technical College. Prior to joining Miron, Howard served as a network administrator at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and previously worked as a network engineer at Michels Corporation.

Jessica Mundt joined Miron as an accounting professional. She will be responsible for a variety of accounting activities, including review and entry of invoices, proper allocation of costs and other accounting-related support duties. Mundt was previously employed by Prospera Credit Union as an accounting associate.
