Wausau, Wis.—Miron Construction Co., Inc.’s Wausau Area Industrial Division recently celebrated accomplishing one of its strategic safety goals—working 10 months without a recordable injury—an outstanding safety achievement.

Miron locally employs approximately 100 craft workers, professional office staff and superintendents in its Wausau Area Industrial Division. During the past year, these team members have worked on hundreds of different project sites throughout Central Wisconsin.

Michael Murphy, Miron’s vice president of Northern Wisconsin Operations, stated, “Our number one priority is the safety and well-being of our employees, but it truly takes the full effort of every Miron team member to achieve such a remarkable accomplishment. Miron is committed to providing a work environment that is not only healthy and productive, but free from hazards.”

Miron team members celebrated the achievement at their Wausau office on Wednesday, February 19. Approximately 85 people were in attendance.
