Registration opens for Community First Fox Cities Marathon with new platinum sponsor Miron Construction
APPLETON, WIS. – Registration for the Community First Fox Cities Marathon weekend of events will open on Monday, March 3, with a new name in the event’s logo. Neenah’s Miron Construction Co., Inc., the largest Wisconsin-based contractor performing work in the Midwest, will be the Marathon’s 2014 Platinum Sponsor.
“Miron is a great community partner and long-time Volunteer Sponsor for the marathon,” said Cathie Tierney, president & CEO of Community First Credit Union, founding/Title sponsor of the Marathon since its inception in 1991. “We are very excited to continue to team up with them in their new role as the event’s Platinum Sponsor.”

Event organizers are encouraging those interested in participating to register early, as spaces quickly filled up for many of last year’s races. Participation is capped at 1,200 for the Marathon, 3,400 for the Half Marathon, 750 for the Relay (150 teams), 1,500 for the 5K Run/Walk and 1,000 for the Kids Fun Run.
