School District of Black River Falls to Host Groundbreaking Events
The School District of Black River Falls will host two groundbreakings to celebrate the start of Phase 2 construction of their referendum with Miron Construction Co., Inc. in partnership with Bray Architects on September 14.
In 2014, Phase 1 of a long-range referendum plan was approved to improve the school district. Phase 2 was passed in 2020 and will include significant district-wide infrastructure updates including plumbing, HVAC and electrical. Also included is a two-story addition to the elementary school that will house an updated controlled entrance, dedicated cafeteria with expanded kitchen, and additional classroom spaces to accommodate for 4K students. An addition to the high school will allow for relocation of the band, choir, and art rooms, and renovations and updates will be made to the Family & Consumer Science area and parking lot.
