Project Overview

“Create, Imagine, Discover, Invent.”
The goal of these renovated spaces at five of the District’s elementary schools is to promote critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving in an active lab setting. The student-focused environment provides access to resources in an innovative, flexible, and inspirational environment.

Separate Innovation (makerspace), Research and Inquiry, and Media Studios within the area feature flexible furniture and movable glass doors for greater opportunities to configure the spaces and individualize learning.

Students are exposed to 3D-design, circuits, coding, design challenges, engineering, robotics, tactile arts (unplugged making), and video production within these unique spaces.
