Project Overview
The District’s second phase of its long-range plan was made possible by another successful referendum. The addition of the Talon Community Fitness Center, a 27,000 SF indoor, heated athletic facility, provides a turf practice field and weight/fitness center with a public entry lobby. The field is 40 yards by 60 yards (full width and one-third length of a football field). The turf accommodates yard lines, baseball and softball diamonds, a batting cage, and running lanes.
Other renovations include High School Family and Consumer Education (FACE)classrooms, Middle and Elementary school art rooms, and wood shop systems upgrades. The existing fitness room was renovated to house the District offices.
