Project Overview

The biggest component to this middle school makeover was the replacement and upgrade of the heating, ventilating and air conditioning system and controls throughout the entire building, much of which was original to the 1954 construction.

Additionally, security enhancements were needed to better control access into the building for school and community use; the existing entrance was modified to provide a secure point of entry and improve traffic flow. The front offices were remodeled and reconfigured.

The commons area was expanded, the kitchen upgraded, the band and orchestra/choir rooms reconfigured to better facilitate instruction, the gymnasiums refreshed, and locker rooms modernized. ADA requirements and code compliance were also addressed.
