Starting off 2018 (and our 100th year) with a bang!

This year, Miron Construction celebrates its 100th year in business! As you can imagine, we are quite proud to reach this milestone and see it as a time to not only celebrate, but to reflect on the impact our company has had over the years. Therefore, as a way to involve our client and community partners, we asked a few of them to respond to the following question: “As Miron embarks on its 100th year, what would you like to say to the owners and their team regarding the impact they’ve made on your organization or on the community as a whole?”

“Congratulations on reaching your 100th anniversary, Miron! The Fox Valley has been profoundly impacted by the generosity of your owners and the entire Miron team over the past century. While Miron is nationally recognized as a top contractor for building structures of excellence, your achievements of building a culture of philanthropy, volunteerism and stewardship of community among your team members has lasting implications for the next century to come. Countless individuals and organizations have been richly blessed by the legacy Miron has built as a business striving not only for excellence in service to your clients, but to the community at large as well. Thank you, Miron. Your founders would be proud to know that perhaps the strongest foundation ever laid by Miron is the community-minded philosophy behind its far-reaching success. Well done!” – Lisa Thiede, Family Services Coordinator for Best Friends of Neenah-Menasha

“The team at Miron has had a huge impact on Green Bay Botanical Garden’s success. Prior to the construction by Miron of our Donald and Patricia Schneider Education Center, the Garden’s impact was about 60,000 annual visitors. Today, we are double that, and with the recent addition by Miron of our Schneider Family Grand Garden, featuring the Billie Kress Amphitheater, we hope to double our impact again in the next few years to well over 200,000 annual visitors, providing a nearly $10 million annual economic impact. The quality of the work, the delivery of the on-time and on-budget projects, and the wonderful friends we made with the Miron team along the way make them one of the best! We wish them continued success in their next 100 years!” – Susan Garot, Executive Director of Green Bay Botanical Garden

“Miron has provided our organization (Winnebago County Human Services) with a wonderful space for training for our staff. We have been able to learn about trauma-informed care, team building, and other important topics to better assist those in our community with whom we work because of the peaceful, comfortable environment that Miron has offered to us. As a Human Services agency, we don’t have access to training spaces such as the Wenzler Center. With the use of this space, we are able to better take care of our staff so that they are better equipped and prepared to assist the community. Also, the Miron staff are always so gracious, kind and inviting. Thank you for sharing this space with the community. Thank you, and happy 100 years!” – Annette Beattie, Supervisor – Juvenile Justice Team Neenah for Winnebago County Human Services

“One word comes to mind—excellent! Thank you for the EXCELLENT: customer service, professional construction services and the community contributions!” – Mike Kading, Director of Parks and Recreation, City of Neenah Parks & Recreation Dept.

“New North and the regional economy have truly benefited from the leadership and commitment of Miron to building a strong and growing regional community in Northeastern Wisconsin and the state through their investments in community capacities, participation and leadership on organizational boards, and market leadership in sustainability practices made evident in each structure they build.” – Jerry Murphy, Executive Director of New North, Inc.

“Relationships are built on mutual respect and trust. The relationship between Miron Construction and Nicolet National Bank is by far the strongest relationship I have experienced in my 45 plus years of banking. The relationship carries beyond Bank-Client to a personal level, with generous support of several projects I have been involved with over the years. Their support and commitment has made possible the sensory courtyard at Syble Hopp School for the cognitively disabled, the Packers Heritage Trail Plaza and the current renovation of Curative Connections. To the team at Miron Construction, I say thank you for your 100 years of service to our community and best wishes for continued prosperity!” – Scott King, Senior Vice President of Nicolet National Bank

“Our friends at Miron Construction have had an incredible impact on St. Norbert College. It just doesn’t feel the same when there isn’t a Miron crane on campus, especially since Miron Construction has helped St. Norbert College successfully complete 10 major construction projects in the last 10 years. Miron has done their construction work right in the middle of our campus, always respecting our students and employees in the process. We have considered employees of Miron Construction to be members of the St. Norbert College family, from our very first Miron leader, who we affectionately called St. Norb [Norb Chesney], to the latest leader, Dustin [White]. Andy [Derksen] has assisted with our success in more ways than I could even begin to name. I consider Dave Voss and his wife, Jane, personal friends. St. Norbert College would not have been able to become the beautiful campus it is today without the help of Miron Construction, and always on time and under budget. In fact, because of our experience with Miron Construction, St. Norbert College’s Board of Trustees thinks that the only way to complete a construction project is on time and under budget. Thank you, Dave, and your incredible team. You make me look awfully good at my job! Best of luck on your next 100 years!” – Eileen Jahnke, Vice President of Business and Finance for St. Norbert College

“In their engagement with United Way Fox Cities, the Miron team has been true to their mission of building excellence. Miron’s culture of dreaming and caring comes through in their big-hearted leadership and commitment, not only for United Way, but for the entire community. At Miron, people want to give back, and that passion is contagious! We are grateful for your generosity and vision as you partner with us to build a stronger, more caring community for everyone. Congratulations, and we will celebrate with you in 2018!” – Peter Kelly, President & CEO of United Way Fox Cities

“Building a facility that has so many unique and distinct needs was no easy task, but the team Miron assembled took up the challenge with professionalism and compassion. They made our mission their mission. The local team continues to be committed to our agency and supports our continued efforts to save lives in our community.” – Jane Graham-Jennings, Executive Director of The Women’s Community Inc.

“On behalf of the staff and Board of the YMCA of the Fox Cities, I congratulate Miron Construction on your 100th anniversary. Miron has made a meaningful impact on our organization and throughout our community for many years and in numerous ways. Miron has been instrumental in the success of the YMCA and several other non-profits through their generous support of time, talent and treasure from throughout the Miron Family. We are blessed as a community to have Miron Construction call the Fox Cities home.” – William B. Breider, III, President & CEO of the YMCA of the Fox Cities
