Theresa Lehman, director of sustainable services for Miron Construction, will be participating in the upcoming Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council Conference on Dec. 13 at the Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center in Madison, Wis.
The 11th annual Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council Conference creates opportunities for businesses to share their sustainability experiences, challenges, tools, solutions and ideas.
The business-to-business aspect of this conference specifically allows attendees to share ideas, brainstorm and create solutions to environmental challenges we all face. It’s beneficial for Miron and for all organizations to integrate sustainable strategies in their business practices and operations to realize triple bottom line benefits.
Lehman will be part of a breakout session entitled Leveraging Sustainability in a Tight Labor Market, along with Amanda Goetsch from the UW System and Tod Sloan from Epic. The panel will discuss how companies are leveraging their sustainability efforts to recruit and retain talent while also learning more about what potential employees want from employers.
