Four Miron Construction projects recognized by The Daily Reporter as 2019 Top Projects in Wisconsin

Each year The Daily Reporter, a statewide construction newspaper, honors outstanding Wisconsin construction projects on its annual Top Projects in Wisconsin list. This year, four of Miron Construction Co., Inc.’s projects have been recognized: Brown County STEM Innovation Center, Community First Champion Center, Oshkosh Corporation Global Headquarters, and The Suites Residence Hall at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.

Awards were presented at the 21st Annual Top Projects virtual event in mid-October. The event recognized outstanding achievements by Wisconsin builders, owners, engineers, architects and more. Below is additional information about Miron’s award-winning projects:

Brown County STEM Innovation Center
The two-story innovation center, owned by Brown County and located on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB) campus, will help address the shortage of technically skilled workers in the region within the manufacturing industry. The building houses UWGB’s new mechanical engineering program, as well as an office, lab, and warehouse building. See more here.

Community First Champion Center
The tournament-focused facility features both permanent and convertible ice rinks, hardwood courts for basketball and volleyball, bleacher seating, locker rooms, concessions areas, a lobby, gathering spaces, and office/storage areas. See more here.

Oshkosh Corporation Global Headquarters
The four-story global headquarters for Oshkosh Corporation brings together employees from various locations under one roof and infuses the organization’s “people first” culture. Components of the building include an innovation studio, conference center, fitness and healthy lifestyle center, recharge spaces, outdoor patios and garden spaces, walking trails, and a dining area. The Suites Residence Hall at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire
The Suites project included the construction of a 432-bed residence hall containing recreational, study, and community amenities. The building is comprised of six floors over a partial basement and a mechanical penthouse. See more here.
