Miron Construction begins work on Brown County STEM Innovation Center at University of Wisconsin – Green Bay

Miron Construction Co., Inc., in partnership with Somerville, Inc., recently broke ground on the Brown County STEM Innovation Center on the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay campus. Miron serves as the general contractor of the new $12 million, 65,000-square-foot education center.

 

The purpose of the STEM Innovation Center is to elevate science, technology, engineering, and math awareness in the wider community; to create community-wide strategic partnerships; to respond to an increased need for employees with STEM skills; to develop business and recreational components for the wider community; and to attract new STEM talent and keep existing STEM talent in Brown County.

 

This project began in September 2018 and is scheduled to be complete in August 2019.
