Miron Construction Co., Inc. hires project coordinator and heavy equipment coordinator

Neenah, Wis. – Miron Construction Co., Inc. recently hired a project coordinator for its corporate office and a heavy equipment coordinator for its yard operations.

Josh Salm has been hired as a project coordinator. He most recently served as a maintenance supervisor for Road America in Elkhart Lake and holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is also working toward an associate degree in construction management at Fox Valley Technical College. Josh is also a LEED Green Associate and has earned his OSHA 10-hour certification. As project coordinator, Josh will assist project managers with all aspects of project coordination, including project recordkeeping, submittals, budget tracking, financial controls, scheduling, coordination of construction activity, project closeout and owner occupancy. His first job will be on site at Fox Valley Technical College working on the agricultural center expansion, student success center and the transportation center expansion. Josh currently resides in Sheboygan, Wis.

Brian Hopfensperger has been hired as a heavy equipment coordinator for Miron’s yard operations in Menasha. Brian has 30 years of experience in the construction industry, most recently serving as an operations manager for Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental. In his new position, Brian will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching cranes, concrete pumps, boom lifts, screeds and other heavy equipment items. He will also coordinate inspections, permits and registrations. Additionally, he will conduct DOT driver training and keep driver records current. Brian lives in Appleton, Wis.
