Miron Construction employee joins AIA Wisconsin Board of Directors as Associate Representative

Neenah, Wis. – Dan Bayer, Miron Construction’s director of virtual construction, has been appointed as associate representative for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Wisconsin Board of Directors.

His responsibilities include participating in board meetings as a representative of associate AIA members; assisting AIA Wisconsin officers and the executive director in carrying out duties; and working with committees, officers and other associate AIA members to develop programs and events.

“I look forward to using my knowledge of the industry to benefit AIA Wisconsin,” Bayer said. “I am passionate about what I do and I am happy to be able to take on this position while continuing to carry out my responsibilities at Miron.”

Bayer has nearly 16 years of experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies implementation and education in national organizations. His responsibilities at Miron include leading the virtual construction team and aligning the tools of architecture with the company’s goals and strategies.
