Coldwater Public Utilities – CHP Peaking Plant

Project Overview

This project consisted of the construction of a natural gas powered CHP peaking facility utilizing reciprocal engine/generator technology. Project scope included:

• Greenfield site construction
• Installation of (3) 624 GE engine/generator sets
• All site work and tie-in to existing power and water services
• Site development/earthwork
• Engine/office building
• CodiNOX modules
• 14 MW engine generator capacity
• All above- and below-grade mechanical piping and ancillary equipment
• All electrical, control, and instrumentation
