Project Overview
A dream for the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin (MITW) for nearly 40 years, the construction of the 61,000-square-foot Family and Community Engagement Center is an impactful investment in the health and future of the MITW families and the surrounding community.
Designed to be a gathering hub for the tribal government and community organizations, the facility will be the largest indoor event facility for the Menominee Reservation, with space for 800 spectators in the bleachers as well as additional floor seating. The large, multi-sport gymnasium will feature two NCAA regulation-size basketball courts that can be sectioned into smaller areas for a variety of sporting activities, an elevated indoor track, a fitness center, youth recreation rooms, a small office space, and seminar rooms.
