Project Overview

Towers Hall is a dual-tower, ten-story residence hall that was originally constructed in 1966 on the upper campus of UW-Eau Claire. The two towers house 1,341 students.

The scope of this project included the renovation of common areas and bathrooms (including providing ADA accessibility), refurbishing existing elevators, and renovating programmatic areas in the basement and first floor levels. The project included a small addition at the lower level and first floor to provide improved access and security functionality.

The exterior envelope was repaired, and all existing sealant joints will be replaced, along with exterior windows and roofing. All HVAC systems were upgraded and AC added throughout. In addition, all plumbing, electrical, and IT systems were upgraded to current standards.
