While medical and dental benefits for our craftspeople are handled through the trade unions, Miron goes above and beyond to create experiences that make the men and women working on our projects feel truly cared for, celebrated, and valued.
Each year, Miron holds a series of Craftspeople Appreciation Events at various locations throughout Wisconsin and Iowa, where we perform most of our work. These events (which include a social hour, a chance to play games and win prizes, dinner, a presentation, a raffle, and a gift) provide the opportunity to not only thank our craftspeople for the amazing work that they do, but to affirm the importance of safety, quality, and production. By taking the opportunity to share a meal together, talk about safety topics, reflect on the past year, and learn about what’s ahead, we are able to connect the office with the field and strengthen our team.
For more than 20 years, Miron has invested in our people at our annual employee summits. The goals of these summits are to build camaraderie amongst our employees, provide learning and development opportunities, review the previous year’s successes, and conduct strategic planning for the year ahead.
The successes that come from these summits are unmatched. Team Miron leaves each year feeling reinvigorated, and many take with them meaningful connections and a stronger sense of community within the organization. These summits provide time and space to harness the previous year’s momentum and propel the team into the year ahead.
We don’t just want you to join our team, we want you to grow with us. Here at Miron, you’ll have continuous learning opportunities at your fingertips – the power to discover and grow is yours.
When I first started with Miron in 2017, it was a job. Now I stay with Miron because I like the company. They seem to appreciate their employees and acknowledge the work we do. That's important to me.

Miron is a great company that cares for its employees. I have worked on some amazing construction projects, and every day is a chance to learn something new.
Crystal Wudstrack | On-Site Risk Representative
I like working for Miron because the crews are incredible; each one has taught me so many different things. Everybody from the start has been nothing but helpful. I came in knowing nothing of the trade I was getting into. I started over fresh and the team made it so much easier.

Our company continues to grow and expand into new markets and regions due to our past successful performance and relationships. For many years, much of our work was centrally located throughout the Midwest, but the radius in which we do business is expanding. These opportunities require more of our employees to take their talents on the road, but the benefits stretch far beyond exploring different communities and meeting new and interesting people.
Do you want the chance to gain experience and grow in your career by tackling complex and high-profile projects throughout the country, while receiving generous travel benefits? We have opportunities for you!
Miron’s field teams are supported by our robust Yard Operations. Our Yard professionals proudly maintain and service our equipment fleet valued at more than $65 million. They also receive and fulfill orders to ensure our crews have the tools and equipment they need to be successful in their work.

Miron is signatory to the trades we self-perform, which include concrete, carpentry, masonry, ironwork, equipment operation, and millwright services. We are always seeking qualified, union-affiliated craftspeople to join our crews. Not a union member? We also offer apprenticeships for those interested in launching their construction careers with Miron.
A registered apprenticeship is a high-quality career pathway with limitless potential! Apprentices earn a steady paycheck while gaining the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the trades. Upon completion of the program, apprentices receive a nationally recognized completion certificate, allowing them to work anywhere in the United States.
