Project Overview

This project was delivered on a Fast Track Design-Build delivery schedule, allowing 90 days from concept design to commissioning. While maintaining the plant’s 24/7 operational schedule, the project involved conversion of an existing area for a new production line. All existing floors, walls, ceiling, and MEP’s were demolished and a significant portion of the structural roof system had to be replaced during inclement winter weather conditions. New floor drains, floor slab, IMP wall, and ceiling panels were installed for a new raw freezer, production line, double spiral blast freezer, and packaging area. The primary electrical service was upsized, gas service relocated, and a new engine room constructed for a new 456-ton ammonia refrigeration system. The project was completed 5 days ahead of schedule and process production commenced as planned.
