Project Overview

This project included a new dryer, baghouse, powder silos, and warehouse addition to support expanded cheese production operations, as well as the replacement of an existing dryer. Building construction utilized a combination of both steel and precast framing, precast floors, and both precast and IMP walls. The project team developed a detailed phasing plan in order to construct the building in between two existing buildings. The collaborative pre-planning effort ensured the plant maintained operations at both buildings during construction. Work included the construction of temporary walls inside the existing facility in order to facilitate a new stair tower, utility tie-ins, and structural modifications
