Project Overview

This project encompassed the construction of a 68,000-square-foot pickle processing facility. The new greenfield facility includes hydrocooling bulk wet pit receiving, fresh produce processing, brine storage, finished goods processing, and packaging areas. GLK Foods was able to reduce its cost of manufacturing by introducing better line flow, increasing storage capacity, and enabling the procurement of more locally grown cucumbers. At full capacity, the facility is able to produce almost two million single-serve vegetable pouches per week.
