Project Overview

The new 100,000 SF addition project consisted of new construction and existing plant renovations to support a new mozzarella/provolone cheese processing line. Processing area features of the new expansion include a four-bay milk intake area, bulk chemical storage, two silo vestibules, HTST room, salt room, new separator room, cheese make, brine room, cooler, lab, boiler room, future specialty cheese room,  packaging rooms, and three additional loading docks. New locker rooms and maintenance offices, as well as an office addition and new cheese store were also constructed.

In addition to building construction, Miron was also responsible for the relocation of existing silos; the setting of new silos, cheese vats, cheese bed, bulk chemical tanks; and equipment handling support for Agropur’s vendors.
