Project Overview

Saputo produces nearly 60% of the blue cheese consumed in the United States. With this addition, Saputo Almena is the largest blue cheese facility in the world and also houses the world’s largest Alpma coagulator. The 255,000-square-foot, self-sustaining addition brings the latest in cheese processing technologies to northwest Wisconsin and will also provide central systems for future upgrades to the existing facility. This facility will make a large impact on the local economy for years to come.
